[VHFcontesting] Whats up with the VHF Contests?

I’m trying to do my part to spur more activity.  I bought one of those inexpensive 222 FM rigs, just so I could get on the band and score a few more points.   Been thinking about it for a few years and finally just did it.  An antenna is next.

Maybe someone could give me pointers on where contesters hang out on 222 FM (I’m in FM 18)
