W8MIL Stan reported on the ON4KST R2 VHF page that LLoyd NE8I passed away last Saturday from a heart attack. Stan wrote:"LLoyd was recovering quite well and was hoping to get a big tower up and get a good home station running this year, spent years just rover."
LLoyd had a rover up to 10Ghz and while at the edge of my range most of the time, I worked him often enough on several bands in the contests.  He was a great guy and will be missed.
