[VHFcontesting] Bought a 24GHz gunnplexer...now what?

Hi all,
I found a radar gun module on ebay with a 24GHz gunnplexer in it. I'd love
to get some working 24GHz gear for next year. Does anyone have a favorite
tutorial on how to do this? I've seen a few sites showing how to use a
gunnplexer to create a transmitter, but for whatever reason I just can't
wrap my brain around how it is done. I don't know if it is just too simple
and I'm overthinking it, or if there is some secret thing I'm missing.

Any tips would be appreciated. I may also grab another gunn diode and use
that one over this, I didn't realize it when I bought it but it appears to
be a complete pull from a police cruiser. It could be fun to play with.
