[VHFcontesting] FT8 to USB/CW

Stu,

Never ending debate.  It is kind of a Willie Sutton.  You know the one
where he robbed banks because "that is where the money is."  My rule of
thumb is to watch the panadapter.  If I start to see activity around .125
-.130 I will go down there.  If not I just keep banging away on FT8.  Most
everybody can do FT8.  Those who can do FT8 can usually do phone.  CW is
the challenge as it has not been required for over 30 years now to get a
license.  There are many folks who do FT8 who do not know or are not
comfortable with CW.  Just kind of the way it is.

Probably not much help but it works for me.
