[VHFcontesting] Arrow Antennas for terrestrial work

I'd run mine outside for terrestrial if I wanted 2m SSB and 446FM. But the cross-polarization loss on 2m having it the wrong polarization can be up to 20dB. And I bought it mainly for FM SOTA on both bands... I just have to turn it sideways for 446 when I can on that band.

It was my contest antenna in the last VHF contest a week ago! Not by choice but it worked.

I have an Arrow Satellite yagi. I have used it several times for terrestrial work.  It seems to work about as well as similar sized yagis, from other manufacturers. There is a mounting bracket - I have one. But, I don't think Arrow makes it. Seems like I picked it up, at a hamfest, a few years ago.

Most of the reviews I have seen for the Arrow Antenna dualband yagis are
regarding their use on the satellites, which I think is what they are
mainly made for.  Has anyone on the list used one of their dualband
antennas mounted permanently for terrestrial work as well?  They do sell a
mounting bracket for permanent mounting to a mast.

Do they seem well made enough to withstand the outside elements for a few
years on end?  Do they seem to perform as well as other antennas which have
approximately the same boom size and number of elements?
