[VHFcontesting] ARRL/CAC: VHF Contest Proposal(s)

So, being a dumb American and knowing nothing about the IARU R1 contests,
can I infer they have seperated out MGM (machine genertaed modes) and
CW/SSB as seperate contests ?

Unfortunately, I think if we did that here in the US/VE contests, the
CW/SSB weekend would be very short - the few serious VHF contesters who
would operate during the CW/SSB weekend would quickly work each other and
the rest of the weekend would be filled with silence.  I can see top scores
under 100 Qs :)
