I think I missed the peak as I didn't get home til suppertime but was
alerted to the AU by fellow MCCer, Don VE9XX and was able to get on and play
some CW Olde' Skool ! YAY!

 

Best DX was K9MRI in EN70...about 1590kms from me here in FN66na

I was running a single 17el yagi on 2m and 100w.

 

IIRC, it's been some 30yrs since I worked Joe on another pretty wild AU so
it

was awesome to work him agn (who says dupes aren't fun?) and reconnect with
many W1/2 friends I haven't heard

in a long, loooong time.

 

I narrowly missed K8TQK dangit.  Heard him working someone I couldn't hear
and then never heard him

again.

 

Next time!

 

Here's hoping it peaks up a little later on.
