[VHFcontesting] [222Activity] 220 open

Once again my prediction was correct!      My antennas are still mostly on
the ground.  They should all be back on the tower by this afternoon, but it
will take some time to get them hooked up to coax again.   I still need to
make the 8 new feeds for X-POL 222 antennas.   It’s already pushing 100º
here before noon.   I will most likely hold off doing feedline work until
this evening when the temp gets below 90º.      

 

Be assured as soon as I get the last coax in place all band openings will
cease.     If all goes well, I hope to be on for 222 night tomorrow evening.

The KO1I beacon in FN44 is 20 over 9 this AM. It's normally S3 or 4. Anyone
down the coast (or anywhere) wanna try a sked on 222?
