I guess what I would do id go to Radio Shack and get a shell that holds a 25
pin connector in each end
Wire what you need across and put the transistors or opto's in it and bring
out the PTT cnqa keying
leads thru the side.
That assumes that the radio end is a 25 pin. For Yeasu convertors I think
this is a good assumption
For ICOM's I modified a ST-17 box to put two extra transistors inside and
then use some of the CI-V
jacks to bring CW and PTT out.
