[WriteLog] Logging and Cut Numbers

I'm leaving all mine as received, if they send just "K", I'm
leaving it as "K". Since I only made 650 Q's and was just
playing around, I don't care what they do to my score so I
will advise if I get KO'd for not putting a number in.

I had a few problems with WriteLog during the contest. Most
have already been mentioned. The Packet thing went crazy
when I wasn't even in the shack. Came back after watching
the Daytona 500 to find it beeping away with a blank screen
on the computer connected via Telnet to the Packetcluster.

I had to Ctrl-Alt-Del out of it, then when I brought it back,
it wouldn't work on the networked computer. I ended up
having to reboot both computers. Rebooting once in a contest
is one too many for me. But I had to reboot three different
times. Before I comment on the other times I need to sit down
and figure out exactly what happened. Which is going to be
hard to do, because both other problems occurred while I was
away from the shack.

So for now, I'm blaming the cat on the other two.

Tim,

I've changed "K" or "KW" to "1000", and the "NN" to "99"--never lost a QSO
in the checking process. Technically, the rules call for sending a three
digit number so you have to convert anything received to a number. I'm not
sure what would happen if you left it "as received".
