[WriteLog] Logging software question (off topic)

Thanks for the reply Gerry.  GIS is way overkill.  Just a map by country, or 
perhaps down to a handful of regions/states within a country would be fine.  
The data would certainly easily fit on a single Cd, or 1GB or hard disk 
storage.

The whole idea is to be able to have a more interesting/informed 
conversation with the other ham and learn more about his location.  Or 
perhaps you find out that you travelled through that area years back and can 
have more lively conversation.

Guess it is not currently possible to do this.
