Auto-CQ also didn't work for either Ron or I. Dumb Terminal and I think a
PCI-3000.

Actually I use the 4100 as well with the DXP38. Only one that works the Hal
stuff in my ini file is for Dumb Terminal
modes and/or PCI-4000 stuff.

[Rttyrite]
FontHeight=16
Port=1
Speed=0
Type=1
X=207
Y=45
W=541
H=321
;HAL_DL_DIR=C:\PCC
;HAL-FSK_POLARITY=0
PTT_END_HOLD=25
PTT_BEGIN_HOLD=5
Font=BPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJBAAAAAAAAAAAAADACABABDDEPGFHCHJGFGCHA
COEFGHHAALELEAEPFJJICJPPLJHKBHPPLMHPHAAAAIMEPFFAA
HIGHTONES=1
PSK_RECV_FREQ=2108
PSK_XMIT_FREQ=2106
HIGH_TONES=1
CW_RECV_FREQ=650
CW_MIN=25
CW_MAX=35

The two commented out set FSK on Hal units. Not sure if it applies to DXP38
or P38 or maybe PCI4K. The PTT stuff is what makes
the dumb terminal key up and down successfully for me.

Diddle=1 is also sometimes used by me. zero turns it off.

This stuff I use only for Dumb Terminal the second RTTYrite section is
pretty bland.

Sorry for the confusion Don.
