Ok, I am out of ideas and options.
I have been unable to establish communications with my MAIN computer and =
Icom-761. I have no trouble interfacing with an old 25mhz laptop and =
two
small Pentium I machines. Just set up port and go. Problem is that I =
really
need the main computer to do everything I want to do.
The Computer in question:
Compaq Pent 3 5000 series 1 gig processor, 3xxx mhz memory
one (1) serial port
Windoze ME
Interface is Icom CT-17 1200 baud
Problem.........plug it in, no go. Even changed the serial port =
settings
properties to 1200 (which is the setting for IC-761) and tried Flow
control [off] , was Xon/Xoff.
I am open for what I hope to be a simple solution that I am overlooking
in my frustration. Have yet to get WL configured and experience life
after TR. (or maybe God has sentenced me to DOS for life)
