[WriteLog] new user problems

Did you read through K9JY's web site?  In it he has a HUGE amount of info
on how to set up the program for the first time user.  I did before I even
loaded it and it helped me alot.  Both of the problems you mention are
listed on his site.  The 10 Meter contest was my first time with this
software and contesting on my own,  I was very happy with the ease of
setting it up, now I just need to make up an interface to the radio...

B means Band.  Check to make sure Writelog thinks you
are on 10M.
