Hi Steve, congrats for entering the BARTG for your first RTTY contest!
I think you have the file names backwards: The KB9JD.log is the Cabrillo
file that you created when you clicked "Contest" on the toolbar and then
"Cabrillo File".
The summary sheet is what you get when you click "Create Summary sheet"
under "Contest". This is the KB9JD.sum. (actually, when I go to the "My
Documents" folder on my computer, it's named BARTG RTTY 2001.rtf (I assigned
the name when I first saved WriteLog, and the .rtf stands for "rich text
format" and WriteLog assigned that.)
Anyway, if your going to submit a log electronically via email attachment
(best way), you DON'T have to send a summary sheet. All the summary data the
contest comittee needs is in the Cabrillo file (if you filled out the table
you got when you clicked "Cabrillo File from Contest on the toolbar). AND
you don't have separate by band.
Simply email the Cabrillo file and you're done.
If you send your log as a text file on floppy disk, then you DO have to send
a signed Summary sheet with it.
