I am glad to see that I didn't suffer alone :-)  I don't feel that GHz CPU
is required for audio applications and small MMTTY black&white FFT +
waterfall active display.

Other minor nuisance was frequent "No radio" report upon RX return on
IC-735.
I suppose this is the result of aggressive scanning not required at CI-V
protocol.
Bandmap window behaved more intelligently waiting for S&P to end.
No trouble with ADSL Telnet.

I used direct-io for LPT and that messed-up Win2K.  Canon LPT fax driver is
wasting CPU 100% of time.
