[WriteLog] serial numbers

I used writelog in a multi operation last weekend and noticed that the
serial numbers were a little odd.  Occasionally one number will be skipped
and there were times when a single number was used twice.  Did I do
something wrong or is this usual?  The impact is negligible in the rtty
test, but wouldn't it complicate things when serial numbers are exchanged?

I did realize I have a lot to learn about Multi operating...like how you can
go from M/S to M/2 in one qso!!
