[WriteLog] Sending the PREVIOUS serial number?

Hi Don and everyone!

Don has given me the answer, which you will have seen, so thanks for that.
I did try it, but maybe didn't have the focus on the right window at the
time, as it didn't work for me.
However, I have since done as Don suggested, and it works fine now!

As well as that, I have just "discovered" the %I command, and have now done
a buffer with that and it brings up a little box where you can type the
exchange or whatever you like!) as many times as needed, and it then carries
on.

Oh boy! So much to learn!
