Dez,
Have you increased the bandwidth in MMTTY and compared that to the KAM?
(I have a KAM Plus in the closet and haven't used my P38 lately either.)

I would not be so fast to retire the KAM!
I also run MMTTY in parallel with the KAM, and whilst MMTTY does decode the
weaker
signals better than the KAM, the Kantronics All Mode decodes those stations
who call
slightly off frequency and out of MMTTY's passband. The KAM is without
question more forgiving
when it comes to tuning accuracy, and this I find is very useful to my style
of operation.
