What are you trying to use for RTTY? Are you using Rttyrite or MMTTY. It is
easier to get started with rttyrite.

Here is exactly the setup that will work if you can receive and if you have
the output of the soundcard connected to the radio. If it works with ANY
other digital mode (like PSK) then you are ok on your soundcard hardware
setup.



Open the RTTY window and select TU Type Soundcard AFSK
Select Port None

In the main window under Setup/Ports be sure to select DVK Type Windows
sound board.

Bands check LSB is FSK (This is VERY IMPORTANT) and the main reason it does
not transmit in RTTY.

If this does not work you can see if your card is connected correctly to the
transmitter by connecting headphones to the output you use and see if a tone
is generated when you transmit.
