This weekend I used WL 10.36g with an IC781 and noticed the following
problem:

When I put the rig in split the computer had no idea it was in split mode (I
could see on the network frequency window what WL thought the RX and TX freq
were). In addition, a couple of times the computer would say "No Rig!" and
I would have to bring up the port setup screen and then everything was ok
but the computer would turn off split (this can be bad when you are calling
CQ on 40).

I tried putting the force split option into the INI file and it wouldn't let
me put the rig into split mode (it would turn split off after 2 seconds).
Is there a solution for this? I never noticed the issue before and I'm not
sure if it is a WL issue or an ICOM issue since I hear that CT has the same
problem. NOTE: When I clicked on packet spots on 40 it worked GREAT!!!!
Both VFO's went to the right freq and the rig went into split and the
networked frequency said it was in split.

Other than that and the fact that none of our spots went out things worked
well and the gang seemed to like Writelog. Three things that were noted and
one more question:

*	The Band Change rule window needs to indicate which radio you are on
Multi/Run (should be an option to change it to Run 1 and Run 2 for M2)

*	Changing the operator was a pain. You had to select Entry then
Change operator, then select the call. It would be much easier if double
clicking on the little box that displays the current operator would also
bring up that window.

*	When you click out of the QSO entry screen to do something, if you
don't click back in the entry box you will lose what you typed. I'm not
sure how to fix this but there should be a way to set the program in contest
mode where the cursor is returned to the entry window after a certain time
or something like that....except if you are editing a QSO.

*	What do people do when they need to record messages on the fly like
for calling CQ on 40 when you change your RX freq?

Comments?
