[WriteLog] Using the Sound Card

The CMI 8738/C3DX PCI Audio device is embedded on the motherboard of my Soyo
Dragon Pkus (Athlon 1700+) machine. Rating 7F on the SB Check utility. It
works flawlessly with WL, MMTTY, CWGet, etc. In some ways it seems even
better than the SB16 PCI card I have available for SO2R.

Not that I'm aware of. Try the WriteLog sound checker program on it. It's
downloadable from the WriteLog website. 73

  John,

My sound card I have is a CMI 8738/C3DX PCI Audio device. Has anyone
tested this sound card for compatibility? My vendor tells me this is one
of the major sound cards and he is building this into his new
XP systems. My PC is W98 Ver 2 with the correct W98 driver.
