I've got one of these ordered, and even with only MixW support it'll
be useful. But I agree that having support for it in MMTTY and WL
would be a real winner. I know I've posted here about it.
Who else can we push on?

   There is a new USB interface box that looks great by MixW, called MixW Rig
   expert. No longer need the computer's internal sound card and provides CAT,
   PTT and CW all from one USB port. Unfortunately, as of now WL does not plan
   to support it. Maybe if enough people ask, they might.

   It's a little pricey at $200, but a nice all-in-one solution.  I would
   probably get one if WL and MMTTY supported it.

   Thanks to everyone who replied on this topic of a week or so ago. Most also
   copied direct to the reflector which is most appreciated.

   Consensus appears to be, that although *rig* control via USB should be fine
   there is no guarantee of this being the case for keyer command timing and
   that currently a single serial port should be used, although USB 2.0 *might
   * be acceptable.

   Fortunately, my recently ordered new PC, has a single serial port (plus PCI
   expansion for more) so until such time that USB<>serial connection transfers
   are improved I should be OK ;-)
