[WriteLog] QSO Entry Window

What usually happens is that WL_CTY.DAT does not have
any cases of exactly the same call/prefix assigned to
two different countries, so you never see WL show
you the different options.

If you want to see what it was designed to do, here
is a quick demo:

1. in WL's \programs directory, make a copy of WL_CTY.DAT
so that you can restore it.
2. edit WL_CTY.DAT and look down a couple of lines to see thse lines:

Equatorial Guinea:        36:  47:  AF:    1.80:    -9.80:    -1.0:  3C:
    3C;
Pagalu I.:                36:  52:  AF:   -1.50:    -5.60:     0.0:  3C0:
    3C0;

3. Change the 3C0 into 3C so the lines look like this now:

Equatorial Guinea:        36:  47:  AF:    1.80:    -9.80:    -1.0:  3C:
    3C;
Pagalu I.:                36:  52:  AF:   -1.50:    -5.60:     0.0:  3C0:
    3C;

4. Save and close WL_CTY.DAT, and you have assigned the prefix 3C to two
different countries.

5. Run the "Convert CTY to WL" program entry

6. Bring up WL, select (for example) the CQ WW DX contest

7. Type in the call, (for example) 3C0ABC
WL will do a little demonstration in the COUNTRY and C columns.
Take one of the letters that WL put in the COUNTRY column and
type it into the C column--WL uses that letter to decide which
country.

But, as I said when I started, this is all just of academic interest
because WL_CTY.DAT never assigns the same prefix to two different
countries. That's why you almost always want the ShowCountry=0 entry
in WriteLog.ini because there is almost never a time for you to use it.
