[WriteLog] 1:1 Isolation Transformer??

I am thinking of making a box for all of the cables from the computer to 
radio that will have the 1:1 transformers in it and all the connectors.
My question is will it be best to put them in a Metal box or Plastic box? 
Don't know what effect the Metal box will have if any.
Trying to get everything hooked up so I can play.
