Writeloggers:
I sent this inquiry to the reflector a number of months ago; maybe someone
has an answer now.
This is an intermittent, but annoying problem during a contest:
Setup: Writelog with MMTTY Plugin. Windows XP. Soundcard AFSK. Icom 756
Pro II.
Occasionally and intermittently, when I transmit, Writelog sends whatever
is in the buffer, but the transmitter fails to key. (Either with function
key or mouse). If I key again, the transmitter will (usually) key.
Have tried changing the polling speed and turning off the flow
control. Seemed to help *a little* but the problem persists.
This NEVER happens when using MMTTY standalone, only when using Writelog
and MMTTY.
I know my cables are OK and that this is NOT an RF issue. I suspect it has
something to do with the MMTTY plugin or a parameter that needs some
tweaking. Have searched relevant reflectors without success.
Anyone experienced the symptoms described?
Any suggestions?
With thanks and 73,
Al, K6RIM
