[WriteLog] CW speedup and slowdown working?

Hi all,
I was setting up some CW buffers today, and seems the speedup and 
slowdown keys (ex. <<<599>>> PA) aren't working in 10.38D. They've 
always been somewhat flaky in the past, but in the latest version 
they don't seem to work at all. Anyone have success with them?
