[WriteLog] FT840 AND WRITELOG

I have connected my yaesu ft840 to my computer with a yaesu cat interface.
In writelog i use the ft890 option because writelog does not have an option
of ft-840.
It works fine with all other programs like dx4win and with writelog also,
except one case.
Sometimes when i do ptt, and after that hit the ESCAPE button
the frequency changes and the ft-840 remains on ptt continuously.
Any suggestions?
