An observation (obvious?):
RITTY or MMTTY standalone is not nearly as good as RITTY or
MMTTY integrated into Writelog. With them integrated,
you get the advantage of Writelog's great callsign
recognition features, where a callsign, totally
surrounded by garbage, is highlighted in green or yellow.
Have you noticed that Writelog requires _two_ characters
to be sent _after_ a callsign, before it recognizes a
callsign? So, if you dump your callsign in, it looks to
me like you should follow it with _two_ carriage returns,
or spaces, to have it turn green or yellow or even pink
on the other guys' monitor. If you send your callsign
twice, only the second one needs the additional two
characters.
I'm just a newbie to all this RTTY stuff, so maybe everybody
already knows all this, or maybe I'm all wet.
