[WriteLog] Trouble interfacing the TS-2000 and MFJ 1275 to my laptop...HELP!

OK,
So how do I tune the rig freq with writelog? There is no UP/Down freq
button or icon?
One of the reasons this rig interested me is that it is COMPLETELY
controllable from a virtual faceplate in their software: bands, modes,
filters, etc. are all accessible. It was made to be remoted. The "B"
version doesn't have a user front panel and uses the computer interface to
perform ALL controls.
I guess my biggest problem is that Writelog can't automatically read the
rig freq and log it without the connection to the rig user interface
necessitating me making the entries manually.
So, tell me how to tune the rig within Writelog please.

This is impossible. You really don't want to do that anyway. Writelog can
give you all the control yo need in a contest. Two programs cannot share
the same com prot and that is that.

Writelog can control the frequency of the radio just fine. Most people find
that manual tuning is MUCH better and MUCH faster in a contest anyway. I
have yet to see really good screen based tuning in any program.

There is really no practical answer to this.
Use one program to control the comport. The only way to use more than one
is to have inter program communication via DDE or such and have one
controlling program like Commander in the DXLABS suite.
Once you accept that and realize that you can control the radio with
Writelog , then you are on your way.
