This has been discussed before and the general consensus is to use the
search and replace function in Notepad or other editor.  Search for
QTH: and replace with STATE: or whatever is appropriate.

There is a potential problem where something other than states could
be included in the QTH: field, but when importing those into a logging
program they should be ignored.  Check this out using a temporary log
file in your log program before committing to the *real* log.

I use DXKeeper for logging and it works for me.  For those not
familiar with DXKeeper, it is one of a suite of applications which is
