[WriteLog] Help troubleshoot rig reading

I haven't changed my configuration, but I've lost the ability for WriteLog
to read my rig. Any troubleshooting tips greatly appreciated.

Rig: IC-756PROII on COM 5 via a CT-17 and a USB-connected Connect Tech
White Heat adapter. I also have a modem on this adapter, and it works
fine - Thus the adapter and connection to the computer appear fine. It has
also worked previously for a couple of years. I also use a PW-1 connected
via the same CT-17, and the amp tracks the rig exactly as it should. This
generally clears the CT-17 as a site of malfunction.

On WL's Port setup, the rig is on com 5, Baud is 9600, and POLL is checked.
Again, this used to work, and I haven't changed anything.

The baud rate and hex address of the rig are correct (9600, 5Chex) and have
not changed, and again, this has all worked for a long time.

I have no idea why we're not talking anymore, but would appreciate any ideas
how to troubleshoot it. I do have another interface that I can try between
the White Heat adapter and a 706MKIIG - It's in the car right now, but I
plan on bringing it in and using it as a further check this afternoon. If
WL won't read it either, the problem has to be in the CT-17 or the White
Heat. It's probably something simple like a loose wire etc, but I can't
find it, and again, the modem works fine through the USB serial adapter, so
that seems to be working! Thanks
