[WriteLog] REMOVING DATA

A friend asked the following question on a local reflector. I'd like to
know the answer to it also. 
Is it possible to do what he is trying to do? Can anybody help? 

Question:
"Can anyone tell me how to remove the old contest data that I have in my

Writelog folder? I want to remove the contests that appear
when the first screen comes up after starting Writelog."
