[WriteLog] Message Play Level

In installing new computers here over the Holidaze, I also had message play
level grayed out.  This was with SoundBlaster 16 PCI sound boards.
Downloading and installing the latest drivers from the Creative Labs website
fixed the problem.

I have three different drivers for these boards, all issued by Creative Labs
at one time or another.  Its surprising to me how differently the boards
behave depending on which drivers are installed.

(BTW:  I don't recommend SB 16 PCI boards - its just what's laying around
the shack --)
