On XP machines,  ALL accounts must have the same name and password.  All
machines must be in the same workgroup.  If you have these things done,

click on control panel,  adminstrative tools, services,  then RIGHT click on

NETDDE DSDM

and click restart.

This will complain that it is also restarting NET DDE.  Say yes.

After this, my computers are networked for Field Day at last.
