Well it works perfectly now thanks for the help guys and to all that
replied. This is a great interface works well with WL and DX4WIN. 73

You set it up as you describe, with the rig and CW on the same port - in
this case com 5 - for one of them.  Remember that you have to set the baud
rate in Writelog to match your radios' baud rate - the control panel
settings don't matter.

Then you select PTT on CW port.

It should work.
