[WriteLog] Upgrading Error

I had a similar problem when I upgraded to 10.49 and then 10.50. I got the
error on the 10.50 upgrade.
After rebooting the computer, back dating to 10.48 and then upgrading
directly to 10.50 everything worked with the downloaded files that I had.
Since 10.49 was reported to having some problems, I figured it was just
another 10.49 glitch.
