[WriteLog] COM port timing problems

Having a problem reading an FT-897 on com1.  When the port setting is set to auto, there is no communication.  With the rig and WL set to 9600 or 4800 baud, there is communication but it is flaky.  If I force the rig to TX, WL reads the freq okay, but on Rx, it often reads the wrong freq.  Also, CW keying is okay out of com1 using alk-K but not the F keys.

Ideas?
