Well, I have a program here which will check any comm port from 1
through 39 for proper operation. . And strangely enough, when I put my
2 port card back into the machine, Comm 4 ws assigned IRQ17.

Don't ask me why, but there are a lot of IRQs available, and port
addresses, but we all seem to be a little in the dark about finding
and controlling them.
