One more thing. If you are going to use a Heil mic, or probably any 
other dynamic mic, make sure your sound card has a "mic boost" option, 
and enable it. This option is usually under advanced recording or 
playback controls for the sound card. If you don't have a mic boost, 
you will have to use a computer mic to record your Wave files, and 
then won't be able to route your dynamic mic through the sound card.
