[WriteLog] XP, parallel port and writelog

I have four XP Pro computers and I've had this problem on every one.  You
need to change the address of LPT1 in your writelog.ini to match your
system.  In my case it's 0x378.

Here's a twist,
I have LPT1 on an XP box that works just fine.  It appears properly in all
respects, including the Device Manager.
When I open the port with either directio or userport writelog shows LPT2 as
now being available.  Nothing I do seems to get LPT1 to be available in
writelog.  LPT2 does not exist on this maching.
Any thoughts??
