WriteLog, like everything else, has some faults. However, that said, I have
been using it for about five years, now, and it has been an extremely
reliable contest logging program. I host on a 750 MHz machine running
Windows 98SE. It controls two Yaesu FT-1000s (in SO2R), keys using the
parallel port, and rarely stutters while generating CW directly (no WinKey
or outboard anything). I have never had a problem with it that I could not
resolve fairly quickly. I have heard other gripes about N1MM, TR-Log, CT and
other logging programs. None of them are perfect. You have to put everything
into perspective.
