K9JY's excellent site says C:\Users\USERXX\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\WriteLog.ini will bring up the WriteLog .ini files. It doesn't work on my machine. It's too late to change OSs tho.ugh I do loath Vista. I'm trying to get into the .ini file to set up some cut numbers for CW contesting. All help gratefully received. 73, Alan/K6SRZ
