[WriteLog] wlog and usb to serial adapter

Hi
I just moved to a windows 7 machine and am using a Trendnet TU-s9 usb to serial adapter. I works ok with both Win-Eqf and HRD but not with Writelog. I tried a lot of different port  settings but to no avail. Has anybody gone through this and what did you do to solve this?
