This sounds like the problem of the path to MMTTY not set.

Please check your Writelog.ini file.  Look for:

[Rttyrite]
Port=1
Speed=0
Type=15
X=-2
Y=328
W=887
H=363
CustomTnc1MenuEntry=MMTTY                             *****These 3 lines are 
needed for WL to find MMTTY
CustomTnc1ProgId=WriteLog.WlMMTtyTnc.1        *****
MMTTY_LOCATION=C:\program files\MMTTY\  *****

I guess after months of trying to get this to work and not getting any results
and not really not getting any help from writelog I am just a little flustered 
I do have the plugin installed
I have read the contest.com site
I have reinstalled writelog
I have reinstalled mmtty
writelog works fine except rtty
and mmtty works fine in other programs, I use hamscope for my every day rtty
using XP
