[WriteLog] WriteLog Digest, Vol 115, Issue 19

I too have requested this but to no avail. It is really time consuming and
somewhat irritating to have to reconfigure each time I go to writelog. The
comports and soundcards get mixed up and it sometimes takes me up to 30
minutes to get it corrected. To me this is really a bad flaw that needs
correcting and I'm glad someone brought this up.

Jim,

Don't just shut WL down with all those Rttyrite windows open. Try closing
the clone window first before shutting down WL.

WriteLog only saves two Rttyrite window configurations regardless of how
many you set up, assuming you do a Save Configuration. You'll note in the
writelog.ini file there are only two Rttyrite sections. If you setup more
than two Rttyrite windows the second configuration section sometimes ends up
being a mixture of parameters for two or more windows.

The net result is that you have to re-setup all your Rttyrite windows every
time you load WriteLog. Two years ago, I submitted a request to fix this,
e.g., provide for many more Rttyrite sections in writelog.ini, but nothing
has been done yet. There may not be enough of us using more than two
Rttyrite windows to justify a fix at this time.

Well, good job I'm not serious about the IOTA contest !

Problems straight away with 11.06A

Immediately get :

'Writelog Sound Error on Echo Microphone" - Capture thread exception : No
common format available.

But more importantly - I've lost frequency control of the radios. Neither
radio can be activated.

Using Windows 7, 64bit, microham MK2R+ with FTDX5000MP for radio 1, and
FT2000 for radio 2. Control with the microham is working fine with other
software , unless I'm doing something wrong, problem seems to be with
Writelog and 11.06A.

OK, finally got it sorted, but never had to configure the 'log frequency of
QSOs' following an upgrade before.

...... and the 'capture thread exception' error measure still occurs....
