John,
After you remove the RST field as Gary suggested, you can use your mouse to click on the left most number in his serial number to enter it into the serial number field. WriteLog knows that since it is all numbers, it goes into the serial number field even if your cursor is in the Call field. For me, this reduces typing errors a great deal...
