Does the claimed score matter? It is typically recalculated by the contest
organization.

I played in the Russian DX contest over the weekend but had a couple of
issues. I am running 11.32d under W7U.
The second problem is scoring. In exchanging notes with another local
entrant I found my score very low by comparison. I was running SOAB Mixed
LP where he ran SOAB Mixed HP but his 50% higher score suggested I had been
asleep at the rig but I had not.
The rules for the event specify 10 points for all DX contacts with Russian
stations but WL scores 10 points only when the Russian station is in Asia.
European Russian stations are incorrectly scored at 5 points.
