[WriteLog] Problem with Bandmap after Windows 10 update

I have also experienced this.  I don't think it necessarily has to do
with security.  I think the Windows installation replaces some driver
or registry setting that breaks WriteLog.  Re-installation fixes the
problem, as you have seen.
