[WriteLog] Reminder - Update your Super Check Partial files

Folks,

Just a reminder that the Super Check Partial database is updated every month – usually on the 2nd day of the new month.

From the web server statistics, it’s clear that many folks are operating with old (sometimes VERY old) copies of the database.

Each month there are significant numbers of changes in additions/deletions of calls used in contests together with removal of frequent busts of active contest stations.

I’m seeing more requests from active contesters to remove calls they see as busts of their own call – only to find that the call suggested as the bust is not in the current version of the database!

Super Check Partial is built from a rolling 24 month collection of the logs submitted to logs at supercheckpartial.com - you can check the version currently being used by your logging program by starting to create a QSO entry with ‘VER2’ – this will cause the logging program to return the date/version string from the copy of SCP you are using.

The latest version will return VER20170302.

If you find an older copy is installed, you can download the latest copy from www.supercheckpartial.com at any time.

Sincere thanks to all of you who submit your logs in support for keeping Super Check Partial up to date with currently active contesters.

73!
